A family kennel of tracking hounds

It all began on a day’s hunting. A wounded animal I could not recover. That feeling of helplessness, of leaving a job half done in the hills, made me ask myself a question: who could do it for me?

I was looking for an effective dog. And I found one: Cash. He has become much more than a dog. He is an exceptional tracker, with an innate talent for blood tracking that has amazed us day after day.

From that first dog, and as a tracking enthusiast, came the next question: why not look for a female to match him? A female with good working qualities and a conformation in keeping with our first dog. So began a search among breeders all over Europe, until she arrived, the female we had been waiting for: Chloe. An excellent tracking dog and, as we have seen, an outstanding mother.

In November our first litter was born. A litter that is bringing us great joy today, with dogs all over Spain and Portugal doing what they do best: working.

That is where the idea was born. That is where our story began. Eager to do things properly, with passion and with respect for the breed, we created our kennel name: Bavieras del Alcázar.

And in our constant search for the perfect nose, from Slovakia, from the prestigious kennel of Marian Firko, came Bea Dubový. A beautiful Bloodhound, the human search and rescue breed par excellence, who is in the middle of her training and will, without doubt, be the delight of our kennel.

To close a circle we never imagined, this year, 2026, Cash has given us the greatest surprise of all. After showing him at national and international championships with excellent results, he has won the conformation titles of World Champion, European Champion, Spanish Champion, Italian Champion, Portuguese Champion and Swedish Champion.

This is our story. A story that began with a hunt left unfinished and is today a life project. A passion turned into a commitment to breeding healthy, functional, beautiful and, above all, happy dogs.
